Joe and Katie
Joe....my little brother...is now engaged with the cutest girl ever. She is sweet, and admirably independent. She has already been in a mission, and lived in Hawaii. Due to her small stature, we were able to do some really fun shots that we might not do with just anyone, like sitting on Joe's shoulders. We went up to American Fork Canyon for these pictures, and although she was super scared of being so high up...she allowed us to get some amazing shots. I am already looking forward to having her as a sister-in-law! Welcome to the family Katie!

The shot you took of them on the side of the cliff (the one you used as the background for the invitation) is quite possibly one of the best engagement shots I've ever seen. How on earth did you three get down to that place?
I also like the very first one, the one on the fallen tree. Simply wonderful shots.
Wow....that is a huge compliment...thank you so much. It was awesome to have them so willing to go that high up on the mountain to get this shot! :-)
Oh...didn't answer your question. It was actually a hike up to a popular spot in American Fork canyon where rock climbers will take dates. It was called "Date Wall" or something like that because it is an easy enough climb to bring a date. But it did take a bit of a hike to get up there.
Imagine rock climbers in the bottom right hand corner of the picture....just out of site. :-) Yup, we had to shoot around a group of guys that were attempting to climb. :-)
